Good things never last

Good things never last - Welp, that didn't last very long. It turns out in the Cowboys' week three victory over the Chicago Bears, star wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered a hairline fracture  in his left knee. This is why we can't have nice things.

Now the Cowboys are without pro bowl players Tony Romo and Dez Bryant with only rookies left to lead this team.

In week four against the garbage San Francisco 49ers, the Cowboys managed to pull out another win, their third of the season, in dramatic fashion. The 49ers are one of the worst teams in the NFL and with the Cowboys going through tough times injury-wise, this weas the perfect time for a let down game to stink it up against San Fran.

Thankfully, Dak Prescott threw two touchdowns passes to receivers Brice Butler and Terrence Williams, while Ezekiel Elliott did his damage on the ground, roughing the 49ers up for 138 yards a score on the ground.

Without Romo and Dez in uniform, I'm not sure how long this will keep up so I will savor every moment because when the Cowboys inevitably break your heart, my lord, will it hurt.
